CV Writing

At SSC, we have had many years experience of compiling clear and comprehensive CVs on behalf of our candidates.

IGNORE:
The dated advice that your CV should be limited to just one side of A4. This will simply allow you to chronologically list your qualifications and experience but not give you the opportunity to expand on your experience nor to effectively sell yourself.

REMEMBER:
Your CV is a selling document and should be used to actively promote your skills, experience, qualities and achievements. It should be tailored for the specific role you are applying for. A blanket "one size fits all" kind of CV will not generally do you justice.

THE SSC CV:
Over 26 years experience within Healthcare and Scientific Sales, Marketing and Management recruitment and continuous consultation with our clients, has given rise to the format that we use as standard. All SSC candidates have a CV compiled in this format which is aimed to actively promote you in a clear and concise manner. This CV follows the following pattern:-
